The Coolangatta Airport (Gold Coast) is 67 kms north of Byron Bay.

Byron Bay is the most easterly point of main land Australia. It is located in northern New South Wales, approximately 9 hours drive north of Sydney, and 2 hours drive south of Brisbane. Airlines fly daily into Ballina Airport, which is approximately 30 minutes drive away, and daily into Coolangatta Airport about 1 hour away. A shuttle bus service connects with all flights with prior notice. Rail and coach companies travel daily into Byron Bay. Victoria’s At Wategos is located at 1 Marine Parade Wategos Beach, 2 kms east of the township of Byron Bay.

Victoria’s Wategos has several indoor lounge areas, with floor to ceiling glass and timber bi-fold doors. The western side of the property features a 16 x 3 metre lap pool with waterfall and landscaped gardens. A second 12 metre solar heated lap pool is located on the eastern side of the property featuring a cabana and sun lounge area.

Each morning, enjoy a sumptuous breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the pool. Gourmet picnic lunch hampers are available to take away and explore the surrounding region.Freshly baked gourmet delights are available everyday for afternoon tea. In the evening, enjoy a canapé plate, seafood platter or BBQ hamper, which can be made to order. Meals and snacks are available to pre-order at an additional cost.

Hot air ballooning, horse riding, golf, bowling, surfing, sea kayaking, scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing, hang gliding, skydiving and power-gliding are all about a 5 minute drive away.Local attractions around Byron Bay include the colourful weekend markets, national parks, waterfalls, the famous Cape Byron lighthouse and walking track, just to mention a few. In and around the town itself, there is a huge choice of restaurants and cafés, galleries, boutiques and shops, which are unique to Byron Bay.
